There are three main ways to contact us:

Phone us during our open office hours at (510) 642-2818.
Visit us. Our reception staff can answer general questions. Students who wish to see a Adviser will need an appointment or to come in during drop-in advising hours (see below).
Email us at InternationalOffice@berkeley.edu. We attempt to answer all questions within 24 hours. You may be asked to make an appointment if your question is complex.

Appointments with student or scholar Advisers can be made by calling the reception desk at 510-642-2818.

Student Drop-In Advising
Students who have brief questions can meet with an Adviser on a "first-come, first-serve" basis during drop-in advising hours. Please be aware that a "quick" question may have a long answer, so an appointment may be necessary. If you are uncertain whether your visit is appropriate for drop-in advising, please call before you visit. Drop in advising hours are:

10-12 and 1:30-4

Note: Drop-In advising is not available to Visiting Researchers and Faculty due to the complexity of issues associated with your stay in the U.S. Please schedule an appointment to discuss your questions.
