All registered students at UC Berkeley are eligible to see a counselor at the Counseling and Psychological Service (CPS), located on the 3rd floor of the Tang Center. The UC Berkeley police is a full-service department, working 24-hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the UCB community. See their publication, Safety Counts for information about crime prevention on campus and what you can do to stay safe.
