All new, transfer, EAP and returning UC Berkeley international students are required to attend a Check-In meeting.

• The Check-In meeting will take care of your final immigration document review. Bring your passport and I-20 (F-1) or DS-2019 (J-1) with you.
  
• New students at the Check-In meeting will also get an introduction to the campus and information about important business to take care of before classes begin.
  
• All Check-In meetings will be held in International House. Check at the main entry for the specific meeting room, as they are subject to change without notice.
  
• Meetings last approximately one hour.
  
• You only need attend one Check-In meeting.
